Amankila is a retreat of rare beauty and tranquillity perched on a hillside above the Lombok Strait.  There is a meditative ambience throughout the resort which features thirty one stunning suites which are located around a dramatic three-tier swimming pool offering sensational ocean views.

Accommodations
Amankila’s stylish suites are influenced by local Balinese architecture and materials. All of them are connected to the main building and three tiered swimming pool. All feature private terraces with daybeds and rattan furniture, and several have a private swimming pool enclosed within a walled garden.

Dining
Amankila’s ocean-view Restaurant focuses on locally sourced ingredients. Traditional local techniques are combined with contemporary cooking styles for revitalising cuisine. Ducks are raised at the resort’s free-range farm in Jasri village; herbs are grown in Amankila’s garden; and cold smoking is done in the smokehouse. Vegetables and exotic fruits are the result of the rich volcanic soil spread beneath Mt Agung.

Activities
Range of activities includes use of kayaks, boogie boards, windsurfing, massage and yoga. Further afield, cycling, diving, cultural tours and cooking classes with the resort’s own chef.
